Weddings at blue: Stephanie and Chris

October 10th, 2018

Embracing the traditions that are special to a couple is what helps us make weddings at the event center at blue so memorable. For Stephanie and Chris’ August wedding, that included a traditional tea ceremony preceding their wedding and reception. We reminisced with the happy couple about their favorite parts of their special day here at blue.

  1. What was your favorite part of planning your wedding?

The event center staff simply took care of everything. I’ve always heard how great wedding coordinators were, and I was so glad the blue team was ours. We didn’t have to stress about one thing once we got to the venue, and the staff was so welcoming each time we visited as well as during the wedding day. In addition, their flexibility was much appreciated.

  1. Why did you choose blue as your wedding venue?

The food was absolutely amazing. We went to four other venues before Blue. Each had something we quite couldn’t put our finger on; but when we found Blue, it was modern, unique, not like any other venue we’ve been to, and it was just perfect for us.

  1. What did your guests say they enjoyed most about your wedding?

The food! Also, the accent lighting enhanced the elegance of the room.

  1. What is your favorite memory looking back on your wedding day?

Seeing the look of happiness on everyone’s faces as they enjoyed all the food and the great music.

“We loved the comfort that Blue was able to provide as a one stop shop,” said Stephanie of their wedding celebration. “A lot of our guests were out of towners and it was nice that Blue had so much room to accommodate indoor/outdoor pictures as well as ceremony/cocktail hour/reception.”

Congratulations once again to Chris and Steph on your wedding – it was a privileged to celebrate with you, your families and your guests!
